Lory meeting on June 12

The Lory Conference organised by Ventura Events and Rosemary Low will take place on June 12
at Twycross Zoo in Warwickshire (CV9 3PX).

Please note the change of venue.

We thank Twycross Zoo for generously donating the facilities. Guests are welcome to arrive from 10am
and to enjoy the zoo. The meeting will commence at 1pm in the Napier Room and will continue
until about 4pm. Powerpoint presentations will be given by Kate Atwell from Bristol Zoo on management
of a walk-through lorikeet aviary, Johnny Wierda from the Netherlands on the lories at Loro Parque, Tenerife,
Alan Fletcher on lighting for the lory birdroom and Rosemary Low on general lory management.

Those who wish to attend need to advise Ashley Palmier from Ventura Events . . .
(info@venturaevents.org.uk)
or Rosemary Low (tel 01623 846430).

Pre-booked tickets cost £8 per person and include zoo and conference entry plus refreshments.
Failure to pre-book will result in the payment of £8 for conference entrance plus full standard zoo entry fee
on the day.

Places cannot be guaranteed unless pre-booked.
This year profits raised will be donated to the EAZA Ape Campaign.
The annual lory meeting is important as it allows those attending to contact other lory breeders for purchase
and exchange of stock. This has proved very successful  in the past. As usual, a list of wanted and for sale
lories will be available at the meeting.
